British Children’s and Adults’ Perceptions of Robots

Robotics and artificial intelligence (AI) systems are quickly becoming a familiar part of different aspects everyday life. We know very little about how children adults perceive the abilities robots whether these ascriptions associated with willingness to interact robot. In current study, we asked British aged 4–13 years complete an online experiment. Participants were describe what robot looks like, give their preference for various types (a social robot, machine-like human-like robot), answer they willing engage in activities robots. Results showed that younger (4 8 old) more compared older (9 13 years) adults.
